change speed limit on A35

change the speed limit on the A35 (particularly coming into and out of Bridport) but presumably other areas as well where there are houses on the road - reduce it from 40 to 30 miles per hour as in other residential areas

    Reduce speed across all areas. Make a concerted effort to tackle antisocial driving, particularly youths on mopeds speeding, excessively revving and riding in convoy. Greater partnership with police to address this and the appalling death/accident rates across the county. Tackling this will reveal county drug lines also.

    I agree that all residential areas should have a speed limit of 30 or less. The A350 in Shaftesbury also with houses on the road has a speed limit of 40. Families living in a new housing estate required to cross to walk to school without a pedestrian crossing or traffic control.
