New path to Upwey Station southbound platform
There's no step-free access to Upwey Station's southbound platform. Everyone arriving at Upwey Station from the Dorchester / Poole / Bristol direction must cross over the railway line using the footbridge to leave the station. This isn't accessible and is inconvenient for those with heavy luggage or bikes.
There is a surfaced bridleway 100m to the north which could be linked with a path and ramp from the platform with a relatively low cost measure.
Why the contribution is important
This would improve access to the station, particularly for those with mobility difficulties who cannot use the footbridge.
