Update the skatepark

The skatepark is an older style metal skatepark. Demolishing this and replacing with a concrete design similar to that of portland or the marsh would be amazing. This will appeal to the youth of the area and will give them something free to do all day. Its also fantastic exercise. The introduction of the little Fairfield skatepark in Dorchester also saw a dramatic decrease in youth crime in the area. Its reslly a win win for all. 

As mentioned above, the introduction of a good quality skatepark to Dorchester was linked to a direct result in lower cases of anti social behaviour. The park will create a great place for teenagers to hang out and with something to do that requires discipline, practice and physical exertion. The current one is run down and poorly designed.
