NEED TO PROMOTE COORDINATED PLANNING
Whilst Dorset Council has a strategic priority to care for and enhance the exceptional environment, biodiversity and cultural heritage of Dorset it should ensure any risk to that priority is minimized by ensuring satisfactory evidence is available to the public that demonstrates all organisations ( ie Dorset LEP, utility services and other infrastructure authorities [eg The NHS] and environmental agencies [eg Dorset LNP] plus of course parish / town councils) do understand and accept the planning and constraints of each other.
Why the contribution is important
Planning in Dorset is so fragmented that it is unclear that the public interest is being served generally and strategic priorities could be at risk.
